Resumen de La retórica del dietario en Antonio Muñoz Molina
En este trabajo pretendemos seguir la línea marca por Jordi Gracia acerca del interés de la retórica del dietario, y adentrándonos en el campo de estudio que dejaba abierto José Romera Castillo en su artículo, "Algo más sobre el estudio de la escritura dietarística en España". Pretendemos inventariar las reflexiones sobre diarios y dietarios de escritores españoles de estos últimos años, perfilando las características fundamentales y las diversas tipologías del género. Así, en primer lugar reflexionaremos sobre al dietario como género, sobre las diferencias y semejanzas con el diario, sobre los parentescos con otros géneros literarios; estudiaremos los motivos que llevan a un escritor a escribir un dietario. Una vez estudiado el género, pasaremos a estudiar la obra dietarística de un escritor que, sin lugar a dudas, es uno de los mejores cultivadores del género: Muñoz Molina.
In this essay, we try to follow the line established by Jordi Gracia about the interest in the engagement book rhetoric, and going deeply into the field open by José Romera Castillo in his article Algo más sobre el estudio de la escritura dietarística en España. We try to make an inventory of the thoughts about diaries and engagement books made by several Spanish writers in the last years shaping the most relevant features and the different types of the genre. Thus, firstly we are going to reflect about the engagement book as a genre, about the similarities and the differences with the diary, about the kinship with other literary genres; we will study the reasons why a writer decides to write an engagement book. Once we have studied the genre, we will go on to study the engagement book works written by one of the best writers in this genre, Muñoz Molina.
