    La Asamblea Nacional Constituyente de 1991, en ejercicio del Poder Constituyente, expidió la Constitución Política de Colombia, actualmente vigente. Se estudia su origen y naturaleza en el contexto nacional e internacional de las últimas tres décadas, en las cuales han ocurrido transformaciones fundamentales en lo político, ideológico, económico y social. Se utiliza un enfoque socio jurídico e interdisciplinario, el método histórico y el lógico, el análisis y la síntesis, el comparatismo constitucional, las fuentes primarias y secundarias y se hace análisis documental.

    The National Constituent Assembly of 1991, in exercise of the Constituent Power, issued the Constitution of Colombia, currently in force. It sorigin and natureis studied in the national and international context of the last three decades, in which fundamental changes in the political, ideological, economic and social order have occurred. A socio-legal and interdisciplinary approachisused as well as a historical and logical method, analysis and synthesis, constitutional comparison, primary and secondary sources and also a documentary analysisis done.
