The results of the bone sean with a 99 mTc-Diphosphonate, on 34 patients with idiopatic femur necrosis 11 of them with bilateral affectation, are commented. The factors which influence the bone scan findings in case of femoral necrosis and the relation with the histopatological evolution of the progress are discussed.
The importance of early diagnolsis of femoral idiopatic necrosis permits conservative treatment and therefore it should be an interesting bone sean in the treatment of thes,e patients.
