    Las costumbres de la ciudad de Tepatitlán, conllevan tradiciones religiosas las cuales fomentan e impulsan los valores, creencias, y costumbres que forman parte de la identidad de sus habitantes y definen las actividades económicas y culturales que los habitantes han adquirido a través de los años y han conformado parte importante para la trascendencia de sus tradiciones que ahora son reconocidas en sus alrededores. Desde 1839 un campesino encontró el tan conocido tronco con la imagen del señor de la misericordia y lo esculpieron la gente recuerda la tan increíble historia del señor de la misericordia se ha encargado de promocionar y hacer trascender la historia aun con sus nuevos matices celebrando así los días 27, 28 y 29 de abril el recorrido por las calles del señor de la misericordia y aunado a eso se le adjuntan una serie de eventos tanto culturales como turísticos logrando que cientos de visitantes acudan a todo tipo de eventos como el núcleo de feria donde se exponen varios artistas, la expo ganadera donde los más grandes ganaderos de toda la región acuden para exponer y admirar todo tipo de ganado. Aunque en un principio esta celebración tiene fines eclesiásticos y arraigo religiosos de todos los habitantes de Tepatitlán todo el que guste de un momento de distracción en las fiestas de Tepabril lo puede encontrar.

    Traditions of Tepatitlán de Morelos, involve religious traditions which encourage and promote the values, beliefs, and customs that are part of the identity of its inhabitants and define the economic and cultural activities that people have acquired through the years, they have formed an important part to the importance of their traditions that are now recognized in their surroundings. Since 1839 a farmer found the well-known trunk, with the image of the Lord of mercy and sculpted people remember the incredible story of the Lord of mercy has been commissioned to promote and transcend history even with its new shades celebrated April 27, 28 and 29. The journey through the streets of the city is propels a journey of the lord of mercy and coupled with that is attached a series of both cultural events and tourist getting hundreds of visitors come to all kinds of events as the core fair where various artists are exhibited, also a livestock expo where the biggest farmers from and throughout the region come to expose and admire all kinds of livestock. Although initially this celebration initiates with ecclesiastical purposes and religious roots of all the inhabitants of Tepatitlán who likes a moment of distraction Tepabril will make it an exiting experience.
