This book aims to analyze how the technological transformation of the Judiciary (including electronic processes, automation and artificial intelligence) has impacted the administration of justice, judicial governance, normative parameters, forms of conflict resolution and judicial performance. It also seeks to analyze the benefits and risks of these new technologies.
To achieve these objectives, the book is divided into 5 parts: Part I – The Virtualization of Justice: Analysis of Digital Justice from Brazil, Italy and Spain; Part II – Justice and Online Dispute Resolution; Part III – People Management in Digital Justice; Part IV – Data Management: Judicial Transparency, Litigance and Protection of Personal Data; and Part V – New Technologies in The Administration of Justice: Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Criminal Investigation.
