    El tribunal de la Inquisición en Navarra entre 1515 y 1521 se instaló en Tudela, tras varios años de resistencia a la actuación inquisitorial por parte de las autoridades locales. El artículo analiza la presencia y la incidencia social del tribunal en la localidad durante los dos primeros siglos de actuación de la Inquisición. Destacan, por su incidencia social, la persecución del criptojudaísmo, en una primera etapa, y la importancia de la exposición pública de los nombres de personas penitenciadas en la iglesia colegial de Santa María durante todo el periodo.

    Between 1515 and 1521 the court of the Inquisition of Navarra was settled in Tudela, after several years of resistance to the inquisitorial action by the local authorities. The article analyzes the presence and social impact of the court in the town during the first two centuries of the Inquisition proceedings. Stand out, for their social impact, the persecution of crypto-Judaism, in a first stage, and the importance of the public display of the names of penitents in the collegiate church of Santa María during the entire period.

    Nafarroako Inkisizio Auzitegiak Tuteran izan zuen egoitza 1515etik 1521era bitartean, herriko agintariek zenbait urtez inkisizio-jardunaren aurkako erresistentzia egin ondoan. Artikuluak aztertzen du auzitegiak zer-nolako presentzia eta eragin soziala izan zuen herrian, Inkisizioaren jardunaren lehendabiziko bi mendeetan. Beren eragin sozialagatik, nabarmentzekoak dira kriptojudaismoaren jazarpena (lehen aldi batean) eta pertsona penitentziatuen izenak Andre Maria kolegiata-elizan jendaurrean jartzearen garrantzia (garai osoan).
