En el Proyecto Dios en la Literatura Contemporánea, pretendemos recuperar la reflexión acerca de la religión en la literatura en una época en la que la secularización reduce lo humano a las posibilidades de la razón. Tal como señaló Erich Fromm, el ser humano tiene dos necesidades radicales que muchas veces entran en contradicción: las necesidades materiales y la necesidad de amor. Si la persona es capaz de armonizarlas, podrá trascenderlas para acercarse al mundo en un sentido espiritual. Autores en busca de Autor. Estudios literarios sobre identidades trascendentes recoge una selección de trabajos revisados por pares ciegos, que muestran experiencias literarias sobre la necesidad espiritual del ser humano. Se compone de ocho trabajos que vamos a dividir geográficamente en dos categorías. Por un lado, el volumen contiene tres ensayos sobre autoras nacidos en América: Anne Carson, Caroline Gordon y Flannery O’Connor y Gabriela Mistral. Por otro lado, se presentan cinco trabajos sobre autores nacidos en Europa: John Henry Newman y John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, Ana María Matute, los autores de la antología Dios en la poesía actual publicada en la colección Adonáis, Hugo Ball y Janko Silan.

The figure of the artist in French ultra-contemporary literature: From thematic analysis to the portrait of Man. This paper aims to contribute to the study of the figure of the artist through thematic analysis of several recent texts published in French. The author examines the main themes linked to the artist-protagonist, classifies them in hypernymic categories and shows that in the works of some contemporary French authors (Houellebecq, Grainville, Gailly, Le Guillou) the figure of the artist loses its romantic features, inherited from the artist novel of the nineteenth century and increasingly takes on anthropological dimensions to convey the values of the human quest. According to the author, hermeneutic interest in these works should consist in deciphering their full potential in terms of meaning beyond the surface of the artist novels.

Ce travail vise à recenser les catégories thématiques associées au mot et la figure du citoyen dans plusieurs textes publiés en France au XVIIIe siècle avant la Révolution de 1789. L’auteur examine les principaux thèmes liés à l’apparition du mot citoyen dans les textes et les classe en catégories hyperonymiques, énumérées dans la grappe de thèmes et montre que sous la plume de quelques grands auteurs de l’époque, le mot et la figure du citoyen sont associés aux grands thèmes des Lumières comme le bonheur, la morale, la protection de la vie humaine et la vertu.
