    The preservation of cultural heritage is extremely relevant to keep the memory of our history alive. Through the Santa Felicidade Cemetery and its Pantheon in the city of Curitiba, Paraná, we can see an important piece of the history of Italian immigration in the city. Therefore, the present work proposes to discuss the contribution of Cemeteries to the formation of Cultural Heritage, having as a specific case the Pantheon and the Cemetery of Santa Felicidade. The specific goals are to analyze the importance of cemeteries for the constitution of Historical, Artistic and Cultural Heritage; as well as to compare the reflexes of the Italian immigration in Curitiba and more specifically in the Santa Felicidade neighborhood; to investigate the relevance of the Santa Felicidade Cemetery and its Pantheon as a Cultural Heritage and to examine the implications of the Cemetery tipping. The methodology used was hypothetical-deductive through the analysis of works that deal with the Cultural Heritage of cemeteries, as well as sources that report the history of Italian immigration in the neighborhood of Santa Felicidade. After analysis, it was found that the Santa Felicidade Cemetery and its Pantheon are a very rich material source for the preservation of local memory andtherefore should receive special attention for its preservation.

    A preservação de um patrimônio cultural mostra-se extremamente relevante para manter viva a memória da nossa história. Através do Cemitério de Santa Felicidade e seu Panteão na cidade de Curitiba, Paraná, podemos ver um pedaço importante da história da imigração italiana na cidade. Sendo assim, o presente trabalho se propõe a discutir a contribuição dos Cemitérios para a formação do Patrimônio Cultural, tendo como caso específico o Panteão e o Cemitério de Santa Felicidade. Possui como objetivos específicos analisar a importância dos cemitérios para a constituição do Patrimônio Histórico, Artístico e Cultural; bem como cotejar os reflexos da imigração italiana em Curitiba e mais especificamente no bairro de Santa Felicidade; perquirir a relevância do Cemitério de Santa Felicidade eseu Panteão como Patrimônio Cultural e examinar as implicações do tombamento de Cemitérios. A metodologia utilizada foi a hipotético-dedutiva através das análises de obras que tratam sobre o Patrimônio Cultural dos cemitérios, como também de fontes que relatam a história da imigração italiana no bairro de Santa Felicidade. Após análise chegou-se aoentendimento de que o Cemitério de Santa Felicidade e seu Panteão são uma fonte material riquíssima para a preservação da memória local e por isso devem receberatenção especial para sua preservação.
