Los grabados marginales contenidos en los libros de horas impresos por Philippe Pigouchet para Simon Vostre, en París, entre 1496 y 1498, sirvieron de inspiración a los miembros del taller del maestro Rodrigo Alemán para la figuración contenida en frisos y misericordias de la sillería coral de la catedral de Ciudad Rodrigo –documentada entre 1498 y 1503–, constituyendo una de sus principales fuentes gráficas.

The marginal engraved included in the books of hours printed by Philippe Pigouchet to Simon Vostre, in Paris, between 1496 and 1498, were used as inspiration by the members of Rodrigo Alemán’s workshop to create the figures that appear on friezes and misericords of the choir in Ciudad Rodrigo Cathedral –documented between 1498 and 1503–, those engraved were one of its main graphic sources.
