Resumen de La importancia de la simbiosis entre investigación y responsabilidad social

  La generación del conocimiento pertinente y útil para las comunidades es uno de los retos que tienen las instituciones de educación superior y centros de investigación. El texto plantea la simbiosis necesaria entre investigación y responsabilidad social para reconocer el papel fundamental que asume la Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios (UNIMINUTO) con la transformación social, asumiendo la misión de pasar a vivir condiciones de vidas más dignas. Metodológicamente se implementó un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando la revisión documental sobre resultados de investigaciones que giraran en torno al vínculo entre investigación y responsabilidad social. Se escogieron 15 documentos a los que se les aplicó el análisis de contenido. Para analizar la información se implementó el método de análisis de contenido con el propósito de develar las prácticas y retos que tienen las organizaciones que asumen el desafío de integrar las dos funciones sustantivas en pro de los cambios cualitativos en la sociedad. Como resultado más destacado, se evidenció que un análisis del contenido de textos que giran en torno a la temática que tensiona los vínculos entre responsabilidad social e investigación, permite reconocer los influjos de la sociedad en la teoría y viceversa. Como conclusión, es imperativo que más allá de los esfuerzos individuales y reconocimientos de los equipos de investigación de las Universidades, es necesario que cada una de las funciones sustantivas de la educación, establezca acciones significativas que permitan la consolidación de los vínculos prácticos en pro de los cambios sustanciales de los entornos que enmarcan las acciones investigativas y el compromiso social

  The generation of relevant and useful knowledge for the communities is one of the challenges facing higher education institutions and research centers. The text proposes the necessary symbiosis between research and social responsibility to recognize the fundamental role that the Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios (UNIMINUTO) assumes with social transformation, assuming the mission of moving towards more dignified living conditions. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was implemented, using the documentary review of research results that revolved around the link between research and social responsibility, 15 documents were considered to which the content analysis was applied. To analyze the information, the content analysis method was implemented with the purpose of revealing the practices and challenges faced by organizations that assume the challenge of integrating the two substantive functions in favor of qualitative changes in society.
