Resumen de International terrorism on Brazil's triple border: Reality or mere suspicion?

El terrorismo ha formado parte de la historia de la humanidad desde la Antigüedad, persistiendo hasta el día de hoy en diferentes partes del planeta, y siendo perpetrado por diferentes motivos y grupos. Pero es con el siglo XXI cuando la cuestión cobra mayor repercusión y medidas de combate, tras los atentados del 11 de septiembre de 2001 contra las torres gemelas del World Trade Center en los Estados Unidos de América. Brasil, a pesar de haber estado alejado de esta realidad durante décadas, hay sospechas de que existen células terroristas en sus territorios, ya que limita con casi todos los países sudamericanos, ha vuelto a ser blanco de investigaciones de organismos gubernamentales nacionales e incluso de agencias de países extranjeros. Especial atención se da alas Tres Fronteras del sur de Sudamérica, que incluye Argentina, Brasil y Paraguay, lugar donde durante décadas se ha planteado la tesis de que células terroristas fueron creadas con el objetivo de albergar a terroristas de otros países y/o facilitar la financiación del terrorismo en otras partes del planeta. El artículo se dividió en cuatro temas, además de la introducción y la conclusión, para lo cual se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, deductiva, basada en doctrinas, legislación y sitios web oficiales y no oficiales.

Terrorism has been part of human history since ancient times, persisting to this day in different parts of the planet, and being perpetrated by different reasons and groups. But it is with the 21st century that the issue gains greater repercussion and combat measures, after the attacks of September 11, 2001, on the twin towers of the World Trade Center in the United States of America. Brazil, despite having been far from this reality for decades, despite suspicions of terrorist cells in its territories, as it borders almost all South American countries, has once again become the target of investigations by national government bodies. and even by agencies from foreign countries. The special focus is given to the Three Borders of southern South America, which includes Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, a place where for decades the thesis has been raised that terrorist cells were created with the aim of harboring terrorists from other countries and/or facilitating the financing of terrorism in other parts of the planet. The article was divided into four topics, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, for which a qualitative, deductive methodology was used, based on doctrines, legislation and official and unofficial websites.
