Fray Diego de Mardones (1528-1624) fue un dominico que llegó a ocupar el puesto de confesor real y obispo de Córdoba, rica mitra española que ostentó desde 1606 y hasta su muerte. La historia lo ha convertido en uno de los obispos más señeros de esta diócesis por el importante legado patrimonial que dejó. A pesar de la atención historiográfica que ha tenido en los últimos años, su testamento era desconocido hasta ahora. Con este breve trabajo queremos dar a conocer este importante documento del final de sus días

Fray Diego de Mardones (1528-1624) was a Dominican who held the position of royal confessor and bishop of Córdoba, a rich Spanish miter that he held from 1606 until his death. History has made him one of the most notable bishops of the diocese due to the important heritage legacy he left. Despite the historiographical attention he has received in recent years, his will was unknown until now. With this brief work we want to make known this important document from the end of its days.
