Resumen de Jaume Gil y su acusación a Zanzino de Solza a través de su obra: "Tractatus Catholice ueritatis contra errores Zanzini de Soltia, heretici Pergamensis"

En toda aproximación a la traducción de textos latinos religiosos es esencial desentrañar y prestar atención a los silencios que el medievo alberga. La existencia de testimonios,disidencias y revolucionarios personajes, que han sido repetidamente acallados durante siglos, podría arrojar luz sobre diferentes aspectos que se creían inexistentes. En ese sentido, el análisis de una de las once obras del dominico Jaume Gil, autor latino del siglo xv, titulada Tractatus Catholice ueritatis contra errores Zanzini de Soltia, heretici Pergamensis, saca a la luz precisamente las disidentes ideas de Zanzino de Solza, cuyas controvertidas teorías abarcaron todo un abanico de creencias calificadas como heréticas por la Iglesia del siglo xv y por el propio Jaume Gil. Gracias al documento de este autor, se conserva el segundo testimonioconocido que recoge la actividad propagandística de las ideas de Zanzino y, por ende, una de las pocas pruebas que permiten conocer e interpretar su pensamiento.

When approaching of the translation of religious Latin texts it is essential unravel and pay attention to the silence the Medieval period contains. The existence of testimonies, disagreements, and revolutionary characters, who have been repeatedly quietened for centuries, could shed some light on the different aspects that were believed to be non-existent. In thisregard, the analysis of one of the eleven pieces of Jaume Gil’s work, a medieval Dominican author from fifteenth century, tittled Tractatus Catholice ueritatis contra errores Zanzini de Soltia, heretici Pergamensis, brings to light precisely the dissenting ideas of Zanzinus of Solza, a manwhose controversial theories covered a wide range of beliefs that were qualified as heretic by 15th-century Church and by Jaume Gil himself. Due to this author’s document, the se cond known testimony in the world that contains the propagandistic activity of Zanzinus’s ideas, has been preserved, and therefore, one of the few evidence that allow us to know and interpret his beliefs.
