Body composition analysis gives a basic information in growth, nutritional and practical sport studies. The DRINWATER & ROSS (1980) method, based in the phantom model, using anthropometrical data allows to stimate four corporal components: osseous, muscular, fat and residual mass. The present study pretends to valid this method and to determinate sexual differences in body components. The sample is composed of 260 women and 138 men between 18 and 25 years old. Results show a acceptabe correlation between the obtained and the estimated weight.
