El periodismo español de finales del siglo xix y principios del xx, ejerció una notable influencia en el desempeño de la política nacional. Este trabajo analiza y describe la interrelación entre prensa y política a través de la trayectoria seguida por el periodista rondeño Manuel Troyano Riscos, cuyos artículos fueron determinantes en la creación de matrices de opinión, tanto en el lector común como en la clase política dirigente.
Troyano ejerció su influencia a través de los más importantes diarios de la Restauración, su momento histórico, como fueron El Globo, El Imparcial o ABC.

At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, Spanish journalism exerted a notable influence on the performance of national politics. This paper analyzes and describes the interrelation between the press and politics through the trajectory followed by the journalist from Ronda, Manuel Troyano Riscos. His articles were decisive in the creation of opinion matrices, both in the common reader and in the ruling political class. Troyano exerted his influence through the most important newspapers of the Restoration, his historical moments, such as El Globo, El Imparcial or ABC.
