Observaciones sobre el contenido y la estructura de la Pítica 8 de Píndaro, su último epinicio. Se pone de relieve la forma en que los motivos habituales en el género se combinan de tal modo que, sin dejar de estar en conexión con la victoria que se festeja, tengan un valor permanente, no limitado por el contexto histórico. Especial relieve adquiere aquí el componente gnómico y reflexivo, la presencia de la figura del poeta y de la función poética y la armonía en la estructuración de las partes de la oda.

Remarks on the content and structure of Pindar’s Pythian 8, his last epinikion. The author highlights how the usual motifs of the genre are combined in a way that, without ceasing to be connected with the celebrated victory, they have also a permanent value, not limited by the historical context. Of particular importance are the gnomic and reflective element, the presence of the figure of the poet and of the poetic function, and the harmony in the structuring of the parts of the ode.
