    N. Dentro de la importante visita pastoral que el obispo de Trujillo don Baltasar Jaime Martínez Compañón hizo a su diócesis de Trujillo entre los años 1782-1785, generó una gran documentación de tipo religioso y cultural. En este trabajo nos centramos fundamentalmente en los relativo a la creación de Escuelas primarias y Seminarios, cuyo proyecto está unido al Tomo Regio de Carlos III (1769), y a los acuerdos del VI Concilio limense (1772).
