  Introducción: Este es un estudio descriptivo de los espectáculos nominados al Premio Nacional de Teatro Ricardo Fernández Guardia 2021 que atestigua parte de lo acontecido teatralmente en ese año. Objetivo: Se busca describir los aspectos más relevantes de los espectáculos nominados y vistos por el investigador de acuerdo con criterios tipológicos, temáticos y socioeconómicos. Métodos: Se observaron los espectáculos del corpus y se tomaron notas que, posteriormente, se sistematizaron en una hoja de cálculo según las categorías propuestas. Resultados: Para el periodo, la producción expectada presenta la mezcla de modos de enunciación y modalidades actorales, aparece como tema dominante las mujeres y, a nivel socioeconómico, poca regionalización y elencos determinados por el acceso a recursos. Conclusiones: Se plantea que los resultados se asocian con procesos complejos de cambio sociocultural y se señala la necesidad de estudiar lo teatral a partir de corpus cada vez más abarcadores

  Introduction: This is a descriptive study of the shows nominated for the 2021 Ricar-do Fernández Guardia Theater National Award, documenting part of the theatrical events that occurred in that year. Objective: The aim is to describe the most relevant aspects of the nominated shows as observed by the researcher, based on typological, thematic, and socio-economic criteria. Methods: The shows from the corpus were observed, and notes were taken, which were later systematized in a spreadsheet according to the proposed categories. Results: For the period, the observed production displays a combination of enunciation modes and acting modalities, with women emerging as the dominant theme. At the socio-economic level, there is a limited regionalization and casts determined by access to resources. Conclusions: It is suggested that the results are associated with complex processes of sociocultural change, emphasizing the need to study theater based on in-creasingly comprehensive corpora
