Determinantes de la no denuncia de acoso sexual en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Bucaramanga, Santander-Colombia

    En torno al hostigamiento y acoso sexual en las estudiantes de la universidad privada en donde se llevó a cabo la investigación, se planteó como objetivo general describir los factores determinantes en la no denuncia formal, y para ello se plantearon como objetivos específicos identificar y categorizar los casos, así como analizar los factores de no denuncia formal. Para tal fin, se aplicó un cuestionario en línea donde participaron 86 estudiantes mujeres activas de pregrado de la institución que han manifestado experimentar hostigamiento y/o acoso sexual en el ámbito universitario. Dentro de los hallazgos más relevantes se encontró que las estudiantes identifican como hostigamiento y acoso sexual piropos, miradas morbosas, insinuaciones y el contacto físico no consensuado, sin embargo, no generan denuncia formal ante dichas situaciones. A partir de los resultados obtenidos en la investigación, se concluye que la normalización de las situaciones de hostigamiento y/o acoso conforma uno de los factores determinantes de la no denuncia formal de estas.

    Regarding the harassment and sexual harassment in the students of the private university where the investigation was carried out, the general objective was to describe the determining factors in the non-formal complaint, and for this purpose the specific objectives were to identify and categorize the cases, as well as analyze the factors of non-formal complaint. To this end, an online questionnaire was applied with the participation of 86 active undergraduate students of the institution who experienced harassment and/or sexual harassment at the university level. Among the most relevant findings, it was found that the students identify as harassment and sexual harassment compliments, morbid looks, insinuations and non-consensual physical contact, however, they do not generate formal denunciation before such situations. Based on the results obtained in the investigation, it is concluded that the normalization of the situations of harassment and/or harassment is one of the determining factors of the formal non-reporting of these.
