    La boda de Carlos II de España y María Luisa de Orleans representó un hito crucial para la historia de las relaciones internacionales en el siglo XVII. Dicho enlace matrimonial refrendaba la paz alcanzada por España y Francia, antiguos contendientes en la guerra de Holanda (1672-1678), en las conferencias de paz que se celebraron en Nimega en 1679. Tras la celebración de la boda por poderes el 31 de agosto de 1679 en el palacio Fontainebleau, la princesa de Orleans abandonó París y emprendió su viaje con dirección a la corte del rey católico. En esta comunicación, analizo el itinerario de la reina a partir de los datos contenidos en un manuscrito autógrafo de don José Alfonso Guerra y Villegas que se conserva en la Sala Cervantes de la Biblioteca Nacional de España. La Relación de Guerra yVillegas será contrastada con otras fuentes contemporáneas, entre las que se destacan las relaciones burgalesas de la boda y distintos números de la Gazata ordinaria de Madrid y el Mercure Galant, con el propósito de reconstruir integralmente las jornadas de la reina.

    The wedding of Carlos II of Spain and Marie-Louise of Orleans represented a crucial milestone in the history of international relations in the 17th century. This marriage confirmed the peace achieved by Spain and France, former contenders in the Dutch War (1672-1678), at the peace conferences held in Nijmegen in 1679. After the proxy wedding was held on 31 August 1679 at the Fontainebleau Palace, the Princess of Orléans left Paris and began her journey to the court of the Catholic king. In this communication, I analyze the itinerary of the queen considering the data contained in an autograph manuscript by Don José Alfonso Guerra y Villegas that is kept in the Cervantes Room of the National Library of Spain. The Relation of Guerra and Villegas will be contrasted with other contemporary historical sources, among which stand out the burgalese relations of the wedding and different numbers of theGazeta ordinaria de Madrid and the Mercure Galant, with the purpose ofreconstructing integrally the journey of the queen
