  La implementación de tecnología en los procesos productivos comienza a analizarse a principios del S. XX. Actualmente se le denomina IV Revolución Industrial o Industria 4.0. En diciembre de 2019 el coronavirus cambió el devenir de la humanidad. En menos de tres meses la práctica totalidad de la humanidad quedó confinada, esta nueva realidad provocó la aceleración del desarrollo de la IV Revolución Industrial, la digitalización de procesos. Pero también ha aumentado las posturas en contra de este proceso. Este artículo analiza cómo afectan ambos contextos a la evolución social.   The implementation of technology in production processes begins to be analyzed at the be-ginning of the 20th century. It is currently called the IV Industrial Revolution or Industry 4.0. In De-cember 2019 the coronavirus changed the future of humanity. In less than three months, practically all of humanity was confined, this new reality caused the acceleration of the development of the IV Industrial Revolution, the digitization of processes. But it has also increased the positions against this process. This article analyzes how both contexts affect social evolution.
