  • Resumen
    • The development of LOD300 Project Models up to Worksite Production Models of a singulargeometry infrastructure such as the New International Airport of Mexico; requires a deeprevision of the traditional project management. In this work; the multidisciplinary BIM team hasbecome the leader in the Production Engineering of a consortium of seven large companies anddozens of subcontractors that had been incorporated into the modeling processes duringconstruction. This coordination has been possible from project databases that set the complexgeometry; BIM standards of the client and a collaborative process that requires automation forrepetitive and expensive tasks. The possibility of planning the control of a multitude of differentpieces is only possible after an intense work of management and coordination of models;objects; parameters; formats and the fluent processing of information among all agentsinvolved. The biggest challenge was the detailed and coordination of the envelope; where morethan one million different nodes require the involvement of several subcontractors and dozensof shared models for the execution of solutions with minimum tolerances of great complexity ona ground in movement and an earthquake of great magnitude.
