    El siguiente artículo se propone analizar los problemas y los desafíos relacionados con la actuación de intermediarios en internet, así como la propiedad intelectual en las redes digitales aplicadas a las multitudes inteligentes, utilizando las definiciones de poder y comunicación del Ph.D Manuel Castells. Se analiza en un primer momento el concepto de control y niveles de regulación que operan en la sociedad digital, así como la multiplicidad de significados en cuanto a su relación con las multitudes inteligentes y la implementación en redes sociales, identificando los desafíos relacionados con la actuación de intermediarios en internet, así como la propiedad intelectual desde un complejo interés que persigue cada uno de los participantes en esta interacción comunicacional.

    Para tratar este análisis del concepto de control se toman las propuestas de Manuel Castells, Lessig, Rheingold, entre otros autores. Y se compara con la agenda establecida en el informe sobre libertad de expresión e internet de la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos - CDIH.

    The following article has as its fundamental objective to analyze the problems and challenges related to the performance of intermediaries on the Internet as well as intellectual property in digital networks applied to smart crowds, using the definitions of power and communication handled by Ph.D Manuel Castells. The concept of control and levels of regulation that operate in the digital society its analyzed in the beginning of the document, as well as the multiplicity of meanings in relation to the intelligent crowds and the implementation that takes place in social networks, identifying the challenges related to the action of intermediaries on the Internet, as well as intellectual property from a complex interest pursued by each of the participants in this communication interaction.

    To deal with of the concept of control in this analysis, we take the proposals of Manuel Castells, Lessig, Rheingold, among others. And compare them with the agenda established in the report on freedom of speech and internet elaborated by the IACHR, Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
