En la Presente investigación se analizan las acciones de las Monarquías y poderes emergentes europeos contra la Isla de Cuba desde el siglo XV hasta el XVII. Se aborda desde una perspectiva histórica, y desde la óptica de la Historia Militar, las acciones bélicas que se realizaron contra la Isla de Cuba, entonces bajo la égida de la corona española. Se abordan características de los contendientes, de sus fuerzas, técnica naval, papel de la gente de la Tierra en la defensa de su terruño, así como los intereses geopolíticos de las fuerzas en conflicto.

The present investigation analyzes the actions of the Monarchies and emerging European powers against the Island of Cuba from the 15th to the 17th century. The military actions that were carried out against the Island of Cuba, then under the aegis of the Spanish crown, are approached from a historical perspective, and from the point of view of Military History. They address the characteristics of the contenders, their forces, naval technique, the role of the people of the Earth in defending their homeland, as well as the geopolitical interests of the forces in conflict.
