    The entity Obra Cultural Balear was created on December 31, 1962 with the aim of defending and promoting the language and culture of the Balearic Islands. In 1974, a group of young university students from Inca, enthusiastic about the idea of moving popular culture to the city, decided and launched the Delegation of the OCB of Inca. Its been 47 years.The communication reflects the life of the Delegation over these years, taking into account the boards of directors and the activities carried out. The life of the entity has had different periods in terms of the intensity of activities.

    L’entitat Obra Cultural Balear es va crear el 31 de desembre de 1962 amb l’objectiu de defensar i fomentar la llengua i la cultura pròpies de les Illes Balears. L’any 1974, un grup de joves universitaris d’Inca, entusiasmats amb la idea de moure la cultura popular a la ciutat, decidiren posar en marxa la Delegació de l’OCB d’Inca. Han passat 47 anys. La comunicació recull la vida de la Delegació al llarg d’aquest temps, tenint en compte les juntes directives i les iniciatives realitzades. La vida de l’entitat ha tengut períodes diferents pel que fa a la intensitat de les activitats.
