Resumen de La arboleda perdida: El bosque y el árbol en el cine vasco y gallego contemporáneos

  Este artículo se interesa por el rol temático que juega el motivo forestal en la cinematografía vasca y gallega. Para ello centra el foco en un selecto ramillete de películas contemporáneas (desde Tasio y Akelarre, ambas producciones de 1984, hasta Amama y O que arde, surgidas en los últimos años) con objeto de elucidar primero el significado que el bosque y el árbol adquieren en cada una ellas, y plantear después un estudio comparativo sobre el modo en que este selecto corpus fílmico pone al día el patrimonio simbólico que el motivo forestal acredita en el imaginario tradicional de esas latitudes.

  This article is interested in the thematic role played by the forest motif in Basque and Galician cinematography. To do this, he focuses on a select bunch of contemporary films (from Tasio and Akelarre, both 1984 productions, to Amama and O que arde, which emerged in recent years) in order to first elucidate the meaning that the forest and the tree acquire in each one of them, and then propose a comparative study on the way in which this select film corpus updates the symbolic heritage that the forest motif accredits in the traditional imaginary of those latitudes.
