La investigación tiene como objetivo analizar los nuevos significados de la Seguridad Ciudadana y Participación Ciudadana en el Nuevo Modelo Policial Venezolano: Caso C.I.C.P.C. La misma es de tipo descriptiva-documental, empleando el método hermenéutico y las técnicas empleadas fueron el análisis de contenido, para obtener las reflexiones finales centradas en las nuevas significaciones de seguridad de ciudadana como es la prevención y la participaciónciudadana en el combate del delito en el marco de los derechos humanos y el desarrollo de una cultura de paz.

The research aims to analyze the new meanings of Citizen Security and Citizen Participation in the New Venezuelan Police Model: Case C.I.C.P.C. The research is descriptive-documentary, using the hermeneutic method and the techniques used were content analysis, , to obtain the final reflections focused on the new meanings of citizen security as is the prevention and citizen participation in the fight against crime in the framework of human rights and the development of a culture of peace.
