Resumen de The Beagle’s Game: un viaje por el mar de la historia

  El viaje que realizó alrededor del mundo Charles Darwin y que le permitió crear su teoría de la evoluciónes un tema muy poco conocido entre los jóvenes, ya que cada vez se enseña menos en losinstitutos y colegios, centrándose en las consecuencias científicas que tuvo. La importancia históricay científica es, pues, clara. Por otra parte, la gamificación es una herramienta válida para aprender.Teniendo en cuenta estos dos aspectos, el objetivo principal de este proyecto es la elaboración deunos materiales didácticos para que la gente pueda aprender de forma interactiva los descubrimientosque realizó a bordo del HMS Beagle. Estos materiales los podrán realizar tanto en las aulas como ensus casas. Actualmente se han creado dos tipos: un juego de mesa de base conocida como es la Ocay un videojuego realizado con Scratch. En ambos se combinan elementos clásicos con la aportaciónde nuevas tecnologías con las cuales se pretende dar un punto de interés creciente hacia el actualalumnado, así como ser inclusivo y que pueda ser utilizado por personas con diversidad sensorial

  The trip that Charles Darwin made around the world and that allowed him to create his theory of evolutionis a very little-known topic among young people, since it is taught less and less in institutes andschools, focusing on the scientific consequences that it had. The historical and scientific importanceis thus clear. On the other hand, gamification is a valid tool for learning. Taking these two aspects intoaccount, the main objective of this project is the elaboration of didactic materials so that people canlearn in an interactive way the discoveries made on board the HMS Beagle. These materials can bemade both in the classroom and at home. Two types have currently been made: a basic board gameknown as the Goose and a Videogame made with Scratch. In both, classic elements are combined withthe contribution of new technologies with which it is intended to give a growing point of interest to thecurrent student body, as well as being inclusive and that it can be used by people with sensory diversity
