Passat, present i futur del patrimoni immaterial de Formentera

    The speech aims to provide an overview of the management of the immaterial cultural heritage in Formentera over the past fourteen years since the adoption of the Law 1/2002 of 19 March, about popular and traditional culture of the Balearic Islands, up to the present. In the meantime, two other dates have to be taken into consideration in the framework of the administrative reality of Formentera. First, the creation of the Consell Insular de Formentera, which is constituited for the first time on July 10th 2007, with the consequent assumption of responsibility for cultural heritage since 2008. And secondly, the approval of the first island plan of management of cultural heritage of this institution in 2013. In general, the main feature in the field of public administration, is the lack of a well defined line of action and a long term planning. By contrast, several actions and specific and generally unconnected measures have been undertaken over the years. Those measures and actions, in one way or another, have helped to promote and spread the popular and traditional culture of Formentera. On the other hand, some cultural and local community associations have played, and currently play, an important role in this sense.

    La intervenció té per objectiu oferir una visió general del que ha estat la gestió del patrimoni cultural immaterial a Formentera durant els darrers catorze anys, des de l’aprovació de la Llei 1/2002, de 19 de març, de cultura popular i tradicional de les Illes Balears, fins a l’actualitat. Entremig, altres dues dates s’han de prendre en consideració en el marc de la realitat administrativa formenterera. En primer lloc, la creació del Consell Insular de Formentera, que es constitueix per primera vegada el 10 de juliol de 2007, amb la conseqüent assumpció de les competències en matèria de patrimoni cultural a partir de l’any 2008. I, en segon lloc, l’aprovació del primer pla insular de gestió del patrimoni cultural d’aquesta institució, l’any 2013. En general, la principal característica, en l’àmbit de l’administració, és la manca d’una línia d’actuació ben definida i plantejada a llarg termini. Per contra, durant tots aquests anys s’han dut a terme tota una sèrie actuacions i mesures puntuals i generalment inconnexes, que, d’una manera o d’altra, han contribuït a fomentar i a difondre la cultura popular i tradicional de Formentera. Per la seua banda, algunes associacions culturals i veïnals han jugat, i juguen, un paper important en aquest sentit.
