    El autor de esta necrología, José Manuel González Herrán describe primeramente la relación que estableció con Manuel Revuelta Sañudo, cuyo puesto de director de la Biblioteca de Menéndez Pelayo tomó a partir de 2005. Como muchos otros, afirma que Revuelta le dio un gran prestigio a la Biblioteca y sus boletines en los diecisiete años que la dirigió. Debido a la importancia de Revuelta y al año de su fallecimiento, se le ha dedicado el boletín entero y la mayoría de las necrologías que aparecen en él, para recordar y destacar su labor como bibliotecario y protector del legado magnífico que Menéndez Pelayo brindó a la sociedad.

    The author of this necrology, José Manuel González Herrán, first describes the relationship he established with Manuel Revuelta Sañudo, whose position as director of the Menéndez Pelayo Library he took from 2005. Like many others, he affirms that Revuelta gave great prestige to the Library and its bulletins in the seventeen years that he directed it. Due to the importance of Revuelta and the year of his death, the entire bulletin and most of the obituaries that appear in it have been dedicated to him, to remember and highlight his work as a librarian and protector of the magnificent legacy that Menéndez Pelayo gave to the society.
