La lectoescritura como elemento fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Básica Media

    Las transformaciones actuales han generado dentro del sistema educativo la necesidad de la elaboración y aplicación de nuevas estrategias destinadas a motivar el interés por la lectura y escritura en los estudiantes desde temprana edad, y con ello obtener un aprendizaje significativo que les permita adaptarse integralmente a la sociedad. El presente estudio se realizó con la finalidad de analizar la lectoescritura como elemento fundamental en el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes de Básica Media de la Unidad Educativa José Alejandro Bermúdez del cantón Tosagua en la provincia de Manabí. El estudio se basa en un enfoque cuantitativo con un alcance descriptivo; asimismo, se utilizaron técnicas como la encuesta, la observación y la revisión documental bibliográfica, cuyos datos permitieron el análisis y procesamiento de información. La recolección de información se obtuvo directamente del entorno mediante la ejecución de una entrevista a 10 docentes del colegio y la aplicación de un cuestionario a 30 estudiantes. Se concluyo que la lectoescritura debe ser fundamental para el aprendizaje de los estudiantes desde el principio de la escolaridad, debido a que leer y escribir correctamente es la base de cualquier actividad o trabajo. El uso de las habilidades de lectoescritura en actividades académicas aumenta significativamente el desarrollo de la expresión oral de los estudiantes, les da confianza y les permite interactuar más en las actividades escolares. Durante el diagnóstico, se encontró las mayores dificultades se manifestaron en la comprensión lectora, sin embargo, cuando comenzaron a enfatizar la lectura y su importancia, los estudiantes comenzaron a expresar sus ideas y pensamientos de forma más clara y precisa.

    The current transformations have generated within the educational system the need for the development and implementation of new strategies aimed at motivating the interest in reading and writing in students from an early age, and thus obtain a significant learning that allows them to adapt integrally to society. The present study was carried out with the purpose of analyzing reading and writing as a fundamental element in the teaching and learning process of middle school students of the José Alejandro Bermúdez Educational Unit of the Tosagua canton in the province of Manabí. The study is based on a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope; likewise, techniques such as survey, observation and bibliographic documentary review were used, whose data allowed the analysis and processing of information. The collection of information was obtained directly from the environment by means of an interview with 10 teachers of the school and the application of a questionnaire to 30 students. It was concluded that reading and writing should be fundamental for students' learning from the beginning of schooling, since reading and writing correctly is the basis of any activity or work. The use of literacy skills in academic activities significantly increases the development of students' oral expression, gives them confidence and allows them to interact more in school activities. During the diagnosis, the greatest difficulties were found in reading comprehension; however, when they began to emphasize reading and its importance, the students began to express their ideas and thoughts more clearly and accurately.
