    OBJETIVO: analizar las ideas pedagógicas de Masferrer, planteando las principales problemáticas del momento, tales como el analfabetismo, la falta de escuelas, bibliotecas, presupuesto, entre otros, así como la relación de su pensamiento escolar con otros pedagogos con quienes compartía el cambio que debía sufrir el modelo educativo vigente durante buena parte del siglo XX. MÉTODO: fue de tipo cualitativo, ya que todas las fuentes consultadas fueron de tipo bibliográfico. RESULTADO: descubrir la amplitud del análisis sobre el problema escolar y la relevancia de su aplicación en algunos países latinoamericanos al erradicar el analfabetismo. CONCLUSIÓN: el esquema pedagógico del autor, implicaba satisfacer tres tipos de necesidades, las culturales, materiales y espirituales.

    OBJECTIVE: analyze the pedagogical ideas of Masferrer, posing the main problems of the moment, such as illiteracy, the lack of schools, libraries, budget, among others, as well as the relationship of his school thinking with other pedagogues with whom he shared the change that the educational model in force during a good part of the 20th century had to suffer. METHOD: it was qualitative, since all the sources consulted were bibliographic. RESULT: discover the breadth of the analysis on the school problem and the relevance of its application in some Latin American countries when eradicating illiteracy. CONCLUSION: the author's pedagogical scheme involved satisfying three types of needs, cultural, material and spiritual.
