    El De Solistitionis insula magna es un singular documento, supuestamente autobiográfico, en el que Trezenzonio relata su viaje a una isla paradisíaca tras observarla en un espejo del Farum Brecantium. Este mismo personaje es un «san Treeçom» o «san Tersón» (entre otras denominaciones) venerado en Tuy desde la Edad Media, la historia de cuyo culto trazaremos aquí. Tras «revisitar» el texto de Trezenzonio, deducimos que probablemente fue escrito a partir de mediados o fines del siglo XI con el fin de convencer a un público erudito de la realidad de su viaje. Se presenta una edición del texto y su traducción española.

    De Solistitionis insula magna is a remarkable document, supposedly autobiographical, in which Trezenzonius narrates a voyage to an island paradise after observing it through a mirror in Farum Brecantium. Trezenzonius is identifiable with “San Treeçom” or “San Tersón” (among other names), venerated in Tuy since the Middle Ages. The history of this cult we will trace here. After “revisiting” Trezenzonius’ text, I deduce that it was probably written from the middle or end of the 11th century onwards in order to convince a scholarly public of the reality of his voyage. An edition of the text and a Spanish translation are presented.
