This essay is focused on the relationship between poetry and thinking and it treats poetry from the point of view of its formal characteristics and not in relation to other forms of writing. I will treat poetry as a way of thinking what is otherwise unthinkable and unspeakable. I will also take into account those special and particularly intense forms of thinking called emotions, able to inseparable connect body and mind. More sepcifically, this research deals with the ways thinking is expressed and displayed (even produced), according to complex modalities traceable to a logical organization of themes and formulas defined "bi-logic" by the Chilean psycoanalist Ignacio Matte Blanco. A specific attention will be given to the subject and to the related research on the themes of thought, will, and choice.

Questo saggio considera il rapporto fra poesia e pensiero trattando la poesia non in relazione ad altre forme di scrittura ma in relazione ai suoi stressi caratteri formali. La poesia come un modo di pensare ciò che è altrimenti impensable, e indicible, anche in relazione a quelle forme speciali e particolarmente intense di pensiero che chiamamo emozioni, e che coinvolgono il corpo e la mente, quale esperienze collegate in modo indissolubile.L'indagine riguarda i modi in cui il pensiero si esprime e si manifesta, si produce, secondo modalità complese riconducibili a strutturazione logica del temi e della formulazioni che lo psicoanalista cileno Ignacio Matte Blanco ha definito "Bi-logica". Particolare attenzione è posta al trattamento del soggetto e alla connessa ricerca attorno ai temi del pensiero, della volontà e della scelta.
