One of the paramount tasks when establishing a municipal solid waste management system is the territory partition. In this article the total costs of such a system are calculated referred to a province with a low density population in the following two cases: # 1 Five sanitary landfills, #2 Only one sanitary landfill. Lastly the results obtained are compared each other.
