Resumen de Propoleo y aceites funcionales en la dieta de terneros mestizos (½ Angus vs. ½ Zebu)

• This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of the addition of propolis and functional oils in diets with glycerin on performance and digestibility in feedlot. Thirty crossbred bulls were used (½ Angus vs ½ Zebu) and distributed in three diets: Control, Propolis and Functional Oils. The average daily weight gain was better for animals ingesting PRO and AFU. The intake and digestibility of nutrients were not altered by the additives. Furthermore, transformation rates of dry matter and protein were better for animals with AFU diets.
