  • Decoding the Disciplines has proven to be effective in fostering student learning by explicatingdisciplinary expertise. Here, Decoding the Disciplines will be used to analyze characteristic studentdifficulties which on a first level are specific to mathematical logic as an academic discipline, but on adeeper level turn out to be related to language comprehension in general.
