La declaración de la pandemia por COVID-19 por parte Organización Mundial de la Salud, el 30 de enero de 2020, y el reporte del primer caso positivo en el país en marzo del 2020 motivaron la implementación de una serie de medidas sanitarias dirigidas a controlar y mitigar la trasmisión del virus en la población. Las disposiciones adoptadas significaron para las instituciones un reto al tener que reinventar la forma en que brindaban sus servicios desde distintos ámbitos, y el electoral no fue la excepción. El objetivo del artículo es presentar el proceso teóricometodológico que implementó el Instituto de Formación y Estudios en Democracia para garantizar a los partidos políticos la capacitación de cara a las elecciones nacionales del 6 de febrero de 2022, ante el nuevo escenario mediado por la pandemia

The declaration of the COVID-19 pandemic by the World Health Organization on January 30th, 2020, and the report of the first positive case in the country in March 2020 caused the implementation of a series of sanitary restrictions aimed at controlling and mitigating the transmission of the virus among the population. The measures adopted represented a challenge for the institutions since they had to reinvent the way they provided their services from different contexts, and the electoral field was no exception. The aim of the article is to present the theoreticalmethodological process that the Institute of Formation and Studies in Democracy implemented to guarantee training for political parties in light of the national elections of February 6th, 2022, and the new scenario created by the pandemic
