    Given the relevance of emotions, relationships inside the classrooms and the importance ofhow the social abilities and the creation of affective and emotional links are fundamental forthe betterment of the learning process, this article has the objective to explore therelationship between the affective and emotional responses, the processes of socialinteraction and academic performance of children in elementary education, analyzing howadaptive and desadaptive emotions and the inability to form relationships with others, affectthe acquirement of knowledge.
