    Este trabajo es una investigación de naturaleza correlacional, que busca identificar losniveles de lectura de los docentes oficiales del Distrito Turistico, cultural e histórico deSanta Marta y determinar si existe correlación con los resultados de los estudiantes en elcomponente de lenguaje de la Prueba SABER. La unidad de trabajo estará conformada porlos docentes que orientaron el área de lenguaje en los grados tercero y quinto en el año 2015y que voluntariamente participarán en el test de niveles de lectura. Se determinará uncoeficiente de correlación entre las variables: resultado de los estudiantes en el componentede lenguaje de la prueba SABER y los niveles de lectura de los docentes. Para la comparaciónentre grupos se realizará un análisis de comparar medias utilizando prueba T y/o Anova,según el caso.

    The present work corresponds to a correlational investigation that led to identify thereading levels of the official teachers of the tourist, cultural and historical District of SantaMarta and determine if there is any kind of relationship with the results in the linguisticcomponent of the SABER test performed to their students. The work unit will be made upof the teachers who guided the language area in the third and fifth grades in 2015 and whowill voluntarily participate in the reading level test. A correlation coefficient between thevariables will be determined: students 'results in the language component of the SABERtest and the teachers' reading levels. For the comparison between groups, an analysis ofcomparing means using T test and / or Anova will be carried out, as the case may be.
