Las medidas de reducción del contagio por Covid-19 como certificación de seguridad en el sector turístico español

    La pandemia del Covid-19 ha transformado el mundo en general, y la actividad turís-tica en particular, por lo que los destinos turísticos han hecho grandes esfuerzos para integrar la gestión del riesgo. En este nuevo marco, la cooperación se ha mos-trado esencial para afrontar el virus. Por tanto, el objetivo principal de la investiga-ción consiste en identificar las principales medidas llevadas a cabo por y para el sector turístico con el fin de hacer frente al Covid-19 y comprobar si han sido elabo-radas como posible certificación. La metodología de la investigación se ha basado, en primer lugar, en la revisión de la literatura existente en torno a los conceptos de gobernanza turística, cooperación y colaboración, política turística y normalización. Por otra parte, se han seleccionado y analizado las medidas llevadas a cabo a nivel nacional para el sector turístico; asimismo, se han analizado los organismos que han participado en la elaboración de dichas medidas. El resultado alcanzado es que las medidas llevadas a cabo a nivel nacional para el sector turístico han demostrado ser eficaces, pues han derivado en un estándar para los destinos turísticos españoles, y cuya implantación se está promoviendo a nivel internacional.

    The Covid-19 pandemic has transformed the world in general, and tourism in par-ticular, and tourism destinations have made great efforts to integrate risk manage-ment. In this new framework, cooperation has proved essential to tackle the virus. Therefore, the main objective of the research is to identify the main measures carried out by and for the tourism sector to address Covid-19 and to check whether they have been elaborated as a possible certification. The research methodology was based, firstly, on a review of the existing literature on the concepts of tourism gov-ernance, cooperation and collaboration, tourism policy and standardization. Moreo-ver, the measures carried out at national level for the tourism sector have been selected and analyzed, and the bodies involved in the development of these meas-ures have been analyzed. The result achieved is that the measures carried out at national level for the tourism sector have proven to be effective, as they have result-ed in a standard for Spanish tourist destinations, and their implementation is being promoted at international level.
