The aim of the work was to point out the huge incidency of postural disorders in themonitoring group of primary school students. Postural behavior of human beings comeup from the concept of upright body posture. Upright body posture requires mutualcoordination of particular muscle groups from both superficial and deep musculature. Asa machine, together with participation of bones, cartilages and ligament apparatus underthe managing and controling influence of central nervous system. Group of primary schoolstudents consisted of 4 classes, each class consisted of 30 students. Complete kinesiologyexamination was performed with assesment of shortened and weakened muscles.Correctposture is very important in prevention of chronic disorders of locomotor system. Typicalmuscle imbalances were found in major group of primary school students, which are themost common predisposition of incorrect body posture. Our research shows that locomotorsystem disorders become more often also in childhood. Mostly costs from the lowlevel of physical activities, low physical literacy and inadequate enviroment where youngstudents spend most of a teaching time.
