    En la presente investigación se rescataron saberes, costumbres y prácticas de los trabajadores administrativos de una universidad pública peruana; donde la mayoría de los entrevistados consideran festividades relacionadas con las tradiciones de sus pueblos haciendo énfasis en las fiestas patronales y en relación a actividades comunitarias y agrícolas. Así mismo, la principal costumbre ancestral reconocida por los entrevistados está referida a la festividad del Patrón Santiago o Tayta Shanty, que tiene una connotación sobre la fertilidad, lo cual es sinónimo de abundancia. También se habla del uso de la sabia naturaleza para curar dolencias a trasvés de las infusiones, de las limpiezas o jubeos. En relación con la gastronomía se encontró que está muy arraigada en la zona de Huancavelica: los alimentos fortalecen, dan salud y vida.

    In the present investigation; knowledge, customs and practices of the administrative workers of a Peruvian public university were rescued; where most of the interviewees consider festivities related to the traditions of their towns, emphasizing the patron saint festivities and in relation to community and agricultural activities; Likewise, the main ancestral custom recognized by the interviewees refers to the festivity of the Patron Santiago or Tayta Shanty, which has a connotation about fertility, which is synonymous with abundance; There is also talk of the use of wise nature to cure ailments, through infusions, cleansing or jubilation; In relation to gastronomy, it was found that it is also deeply rooted in the Huancavelica area, food strengthens, gives health and life.
