A importância dos objetivos de desenvolvimento sustentável nas empresas da zona centro

    The 2030 Agenda is an ambitious agenda, comprising 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which must be implemented by all countries. The SDGs cover very diverse but interconnected areas. In this research, the main goal is to analyze the involvement of companies in the Center region in this great project, nine years from reaching the end of the stipulated period for fulfilling the Agenda. The approach used is of a quantitative nature, and the technique used in data collection was the questionnaire survey. The results obtained suggest that, at this moment, there is still, on the one hand, a lack of knowledge on the subject, on the other hand, difficulties in puttinginto practice actions to support the project, which may be more than reasons that justify the low adherence detected. This study has some limitations, as being conducted in a Covid-19 pandemic context, the response rate was much lower than desired, and therefore it was difficult to obtain information regarding the implementation of SDGs in SMEs.

    A Agenda 2030 é uma agenda ambiciosa, integra 17 Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS), que deverão ser implementados por todos os países. Os ODS abrangem áreas muito diversas, mas interligadas. Neste trabalho, pretende-se analisar a envolvência das empresas da região Centro neste grande projeto, a nove anos de se chegar ao fim do período estipulado para cumprimento da Agenda. A abordagem utilizada é de natureza quantitativa, e a técnica usada narecolha de dados foi o inquérito por questionário. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que, neste momento, ainda existe, por um lado, desconhecimento sobre o tema, por outro, dificuldades em colocar em prática ações de apoio ao projeto, o que poderão ser mais que motivos que justifiquem a fraca adesão detetada. Este estudo apresenta algumas limitações, pois ao ser realizado num contexto de pandemia Covid-19, a taxa de resposta foi muito inferior ao desejado, tendo-se tido portanto dificuldade em obter informação no que diz respeito à implementação dos ODS em PMEs.
