    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo la elaboración de una metodología para el desarrollo de habilidades profesionales psicopedagógicas en los estudiantes de la carrera Pedagogía Psicología que posibilite la atención al desarrollo local como contenido de su función orientadora desde la asignatura Orientación Comunitaria. Su importancia radica en que se aborda una problemática actual en la cual  se connota la función orientadora del psicopedagogo y su incidencia en el desarrollo local de la comunidad como contexto de su actuación profesional, que adquiere en este futuro profesional matices especiales en correspondencia con su encargo social vinculado con la orientación educativa, la asesoría  psicopedagógica, la dirección del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las disciplinas pedagógicas y psicológicas y la investigación educativa en los contextos donde desarrolla su labor profesional.

    The present article has as objective the elaboration of a methodology for the development of psycho-pedagogical professional abilities in the students of the career Pedagogy - Psychology that facilitates the attention to the local development as content of its orientating function from the subject Community Orientation.  Their importance resides by  current problem is approached in which is connoted the orientating  function  of the psycho- pedagogue  and its incidence in the local development of the community such as  context of its professional performance that acquires in this future professional special shades in correspondence with its social responsibility linked with the educational orientation, the psycho-pedagogical consultant ship, the direction  of the process of teaching-learning of the pedagogical and psychological disciplines and the educational investigation in the contexts where it develops its professional work.
