Se presenta un estudio cuyo objetivo es conocer y comprender la realidad de la mediación de la familia en la interacción de los niños con los medios infocomunicacionales en el contexto familiar. Investigaciones recientes confirman que el rápido avance, masificación de la tecnología, está estimulando el desarrollo de habilidades en los menores que superan los aprendizajes ofrecidos por la escuela. Además se realiza un análisis epistémico de la evolución de la mediación de la familia, lo cual posibilita la comprensión de cómo se ha abordado esta categoría científica en investigaciones precedentes.

The objective of the presented study is to know and to understand the reality of the mediation of the family in the interaction of children with the infocommunications media in the family context. Recent investigations confirm that such advances and massification of the technology is stimulating the development of abilities in children that overcome the learnings offered by the school. It is also carried out an epistemic analysis of the evolution of the mediation of the family, which facilitates the understanding of how this scientific category has been approached in precedent investigations.
