  La investigación aborda una temática de gran actualidad, el empoderamiento de la mujer a partir del conocimiento de los antecedentes y causas históricas que han traído como resultado este liderazgo. El protagonismo histórico-social de estas mujeres como propietarias de bienes patrimoniales permite comprender la construcción de la identidad femenina y determinar la influencia que ejercieron en Bayamo la Ley Hipotecaria(1880), y el Código de Comercio(1886) en el régimen de propiedad, favorecidas por una mentalidad desprejuiciada de los familiares que entregaban capital, fincas urbanas, rústicas y establecimientos comerciales como herencias y otras formas de traspaso, en un momento donde predominaban demográficamente respecto a los hombres, después de haber sido la región del Cauto teatro de operaciones bélicas durante la Guerra de los Diez Años.

  The investigation deal with a thematic of great present time, the woman's empowerment starting from the knowledge of the background and the historical causes that have brought this leadership as a result. The historical-social prominence of these women like owners of patrimonial possessions allow to understand the construction of the feminine identity and to determine the influence that exercised in Bayamo the Mortgage Law (1880), and the Code of Trade (1886) in the régime of property, favored by an unprejudiced mentality of the relatives that were delivering capital, urban properties, rustic and commercial establishments as inheritances and other transfer forms, in a moment where they prevailed demographically regarding the men, after having been the Cauto region theater of war operations during the Ten Years´ War.
