Resumen de Feminismo y pacifismo: la utopía de la vida libre de violencia: de los cuerpos a los territorios

En la ponencia se planteará el núcleo normativo de la propuesta feminista de la no violencia a la vista de su historia pacifista y de oposición a las guerras y conflictos y a la lógica patriarcal que subyace a ella. Se recupera así una veta central del movimiento feminista que ha sido silenciada. Partiendo desde los orígenes griegos y la identificación de Aristófanes de mujeres y animadversión a la violencia bélica, se transitará por la oposición de muchas sufragistas y feministas socialistas a las guerras mundiales, y la fundación de WILPF (Liga Internacional de las Mujeres por la Paz y la Libertad), hasta el activismo ecofeminista y pacifista que eclosionaron en los años ochenta del siglo pasado contra la barbarie nuclear. Se hará, finalmente, una mención especial de la correlación cuerpos-territorios en la eclosión de los feminismos indígenas de los últimos años. Una tradición fragmentada enemiga de la violencia que tenemos que volver a tejer para fortalecer la utopía feminista.

In this paper, the normative framework of the feminist proposal for non-violence will be presented, given its peacemaker history along with its opposition to wars and conflicts, combined with the patriarchal sense behind them. This way, one can reclaim a crucial veto from the feminist movement that had been stifled. Inspired by the Greek origins and Aristophanes’ identification of women and hostility to warlike violence, this will be a journey through the opposition of several suffragists and socialist feminists to the world wars, the foundation of WILPF, to the ecofeminist and peacemaker activism, which emerged in the 1980s, against the nuclear barbarism. Finally, there will be a special reference to the correlation bodies-territories in the outbreak of native feminisms in the past years: a fragmented tradition opposed to violence that the world needs to reclaim in order to strengthen the feminist utopia.
