  Presentamos el hallazgo, en el término municipal de Garciaz (Cáceres), de un grabado de época moderna localizado en un afloramiento pétreo ubicado en el paraje de Valdesauce. Corresponde con una representación gráfica donde es reflejado un nombre abreviado acompañado por el año 1641. Proponemos algunas interpretaciones e hipótesis sobre lo que motivó su ejecución, aunque somos conscientes de que existen limitaciones al respecto debido a la ausencia de otras fuentes de información

  Here we present the finding of an engraving from the Modern period located in a rock outcrop located in the site known as “Valdesauce” in the municipality of Garciaz (Cáceres). It belongs to the representation of a name followed by a year —1641. Some interpretations and hypothesis are presented regarding its purpose, although we are well aware of the limitations at this respect, due to the lack of other sources
