    El objetivo de este poster es presentar un estudio del enfoque de valores en el Parque Arqueológico de Petra(PAP) Patrimonio Mundial, ilustrado por el estudio del caso el templo de Los Leones Alados. El origen de estainvestigación en desarrollo es una práctica apoyando el proyecto de Manejo de Riesgos por la oficina deUNESCO en Amman, conjuntamente con el Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation, K.U.Leuven en cooperación con la Autoridad Regional para el Desarrollo y Turismo de Petra y el Departamento de Antigüedades de Jordania.El PAP está sujeto a varios riesgos, a través de los cuales los impactos naturales y antropogénicos están amenazando su integridad. Para manejar esta diversidad de problemas un proyecto para el manejo de riesgos estásiendo desarrollado. Durante la implementación de este proyecto quedó claro que un estudio detallado en susvalores puede revelar información esencial adicional.La metodología del mapeo de valores cuenta con tres fases: estado del arte, categorización de los valores basadosen el Documento de Nara en Autenticidad (1994) y el valor actual de la dentificación de la integridad de su fábrica, facilitado por un Sistema de Información Geográfica (GIS).

    This poster aims to present a value centered study at the World Heritage site Petra Archaeological Park (PAP),illustrated by a case study on the Temple of the Winged Lions. The nature of this ongoing research is an internshipsupporting a risk management project by the UNESCO Office Amman, in partnership with the Raymond LemaireInternational Centre for Conservation, K.U.Leuven, in cooperation with the Petra Development and TourismRegional Authority and the Department of Antiquities of Jordan.The PAP is struggling with various risks, whereby both natural and anthropogenic impacts are threatening itsintegrity. To handle this diversity of problems a risk management project is developed. During the implementation of the project it became clear that a value centered study can reveal essential additional information.The value mapping methodology encloses three key phases: a thorough state of the art, a categorization of valuesbased on the Nara document on Authenticity (1994) and finally the actual value mapping or identification ofthe significant fabric. While seeking a method to map identified values, it became clear that the processing ofsuch a layered approach can be facilitated by a Georeference Information System (GIS).
